I'm Just Happy to know that this kitten was saved and will find a great home and a loving family. I hope that this time the people won't treat him wrong. Who ever has this little guy take care of him and Play with him, and give him lots of attention.

Fire is one word easy to say, but the process for a ceasefire is the longest way to go in this world. Since the World War Two, I think people should know how precious peace is, but all we hear is about the wars take place everywhere in the earth. Maybe this earth is the territory of Mars. No matter how many anti-war matches take place, no matter how many hands with the rubber wristbands with the words “Stop Wars”, the leaders of the country or the head of some organizations (most of them are terrorist organizations) would never give up any opportunity to start a war. The word “Fire” could be powerful and it seems quite exciting to start a war.
The historians tell us that there could be much reason for starting a war, but I do not understand why South Korea and North Korea would fight each other. No matter from the geography or from the anthropology, they should connect with each other tightly. They have the same ancient, they speak the same language and they drink the water from the same river. Some of them might have relatives in the other country. I am unwilling to imagine that one day two cousins or brothers would aim each other with guns. The nuclear problem is serious, but why could not the head of North Korea stop this offensive actions? Last year the officials from the two countries had friendly meeting but today they fire.
When they fire to each other, they totally forget the relatives and blood tie they have with each other; they also forget that for achieve the peace and make the missing families get reunion, they had already done lots of jobs. They fire to each other just because one party overstepped the boundary which did not exist in the ancient history and one day would dismiss from the history. There is too much killing this year, could not they reduce some?

Thanks for the compliment. Quick back story - I forgot darkness would be closing in an hour earlier after the time change a day or so before. Even though I knew I needed to shoot a "stand-alone" feature photo for the paper, daylight ran out on me before I realized it. I was then left with figuring out what to do with night light. The moon just happened to be hanging around long enough to inspire the picture. - Steve B.

Our photographers prepare the image/s from various assignments for the newspaper and publication in "Between The Lens." Any extras that are in focus and technically exposed good enough to make a decent print from are saved into the "Whig Gallery" where one can browse and order prints online directly from a company named MyCapture. Check out our Whig Gallery and see if a photo of No. 7 is there. Pictures are archived according to the day, week, and year they were taken. The sports picture folders are also named by the school and sport. (QHS soccer 2009)

Thanks for the comments. Actually Mike Kipley took this photograph. My name is all over the place because I am the site administrator. However, the photographers are credited with each of their photographs with a byline at the end of the caption or entry. Sorry for the confusion. I agree it is a great photo, and will be sure to let Mike know you posted your comment. Thanks - Steve B.
